“I find this software very helpful. I initially installed it in a completely untreated mixing room. Using the reference mic, SoundID was able to show me how poor the frequency response of the room truly was. An EQ curve was created to flatten the frequencies, and I must say that this works very well. I could hear an immediate and obvious increase in clarity. I'm going on to add proper treatment to my mix room, but still expect to use SoundID to further correct the room, just from a better starting point. In addition to this, the ability to emulate different playback systems in software is quite valuable. This allows you to quickly reference your mix in a lot of different playback situations. I have never seen a faster or easier way to do this.”
