Using SoundID Reference for Headphones, my mixes improved drastically. I can't afford a nice room/monitors setup or more expensive open back headphones, and this allowed me to get better mixes with my M50x's.

It’s a game changer. I was told that my headphones had a flat frequency response, but no. With sonar works I’m finally starting to get better mixes.

I think SoundID is a great concept and is executed perfectly. I didn’t think how much I might need something like this until I turned it on and started hearing the improvement in my mixes. It gave me the certainty that what I heard through my headphones would translate well to the majority of speakers. In addition their headphone frequency response catalogue was expansive and had many options for even the less used headphones. I have since told everyone I know about this product.

As a music producer who is constantly on the move, I've always struggled with mixing tracks on different headphones. That's why I decided to try Sonar ID Reference for Headphones, a calibration tool designed for creatives and producers. After using this tool for the past month, I felt compelled to share my experience. Quality First off, the software feels well-designed, from its intuitive UI to its comprehensive support for over 400 headphone models. It's clear that a lot of thought was put into making this product functional and user-friendly. Performance Sonar ID Reference works like a charm. I've tested it on three separate headphones pairs, and the calibration is spot-on. The different DSP controls and calibration target settings have helped me tailor the sound exactly to my preferences. My mixes have never sounded better across different listening devices. Ease of use I use several DAWs, so compatibility was a big concern for me. Sonar ID Reference supports AU, AAX, VST2, and VST3, making it incredibly versatile. Setting it up takes less than 10 minutes, and the controls are straightforward to use. Value for money Considering the accuracy and confidence it has provided me with in my mixing process, the price is justifiable. It has become an indispensable tool in my creative workflow. Pros and cons Pros: Supports a wide range of headphones models Highly customizable with various DSP controls and calibration target settings Easy to set up and compatible with multiple DAWs Improves mix accuracy and consistency Cons: Could be pricey for beginners or hobbyists Learning curve for understanding all features Sonar ID Reference for Headphones is a game-changer for anyone serious about audio production. With support for a vast array of headphones and seamless integration into various DAWs, it provides a level of consistency and accuracy that I didn't even know I needed.
