“SoundID Reference for Headphones (Education License) is a highly effective solution for improving monitoring accuracy in non-treated environments. As a student currently learning mixing, mastering, and post-production, I rely heavily on headphones (Audio-Technica M20x), and the calibration significantly improved tonal balance, especially in the low end and midrange clarity.
The software is easy to set up, integrates smoothly into my workflow, and provides immediate, noticeable results. It allows me to make more reliable mixing decisions and achieve better translation across different playback systems.
Overall, it is a valuable tool for students and headphone-based producers who need a consistent and trustworthy reference without investing in expensive acoustic treatment.”
“I'm so happy with how much my mixes have improved, especially since I don't have a recording studio.
Everything was very well explained on the online portal.
Thank you so much for everything.”
“Having the option to purchase SoundID at an education pricing was a no brainier. Great product that enhances my audio experience, both in sound design fire live performance and mixing”
“"The standalone version crashes often on Windows 11. There are problems with it, making it unusable for regular use, but the VST works well. Since I mostly use it in a DAW, it is not a big deal, but it decreases its overall value. The standalone version makes me feel like back in the XP era when things crashed a lot. In my opinion, this is hard to tolerate nowadays. The application itself is useful. I use it with the HD600, and it is a big help for checking the low end, since headphones are my main reference."”
