“Due to the time it takes SoundAI to process a typical 3 to 5 minute audio track, I found it slowed down my workflow considerably when auditioning the different VoiceAI artist presets. Sure there is an in built audio clip of each artist preset but a feature that allows users to hear a 5 to 10 second clip of the presets singing the actual unprocessed audio vocals in their DAW would be more timely and informative.
Once an artist preset is chosen and AI processing is applied, there is very little or no control over how the presets deliver the vocal proformances as there is in Dreamtonics Synthesizer V for example. So for instance, there is no way to change the accent or pronounciation of words or vocal emphasis such as vibrato etc.
Otherwise SoundAI is a fantastic idea with a promising future. I would re purchase if some upgrades are made.”
“This is total madness! I've been waiting for so many years to finally be able to transform my uninteresting voice into a version worthy of presenting to anyone without bleeding ears. The voices are very pleasant and varied. I needed a feisty, screaming and typical rock voice the most and I finally found it in this program (please add a few more in this style). As a composer with an ugly voice, I can finally start publishing my ideas without asking absolutely anyone to sing the melody line as I imagine it. I also tried to replace the voiceover timbre of the narrator with Ai, but in my case the Polish language has difficult rustling consonants and the algorithm still needs to be refined, but in English I think it is possible to replace the voice without any problems - and here I emphasize that VoiceAi proves that it is not only used for singing vocal samples, but also spoken ones, which is not mentioned anywhere in the description or demonstrations on YT. I also respect Sonarworks for their policy of not forcing subscriptions, but I can calmly use the VoiceAi capabilities without stressing about renewals and the need to use the internet. Huge respect for that! I am excited and very grateful for what you have done.”
“Amazing but still a little scary. Voice to voice conversion works really well and fast. Choice of timbres/voices is large and already pretty well balanced. Voice to instrument conversion could be improved, because the instruments don't sound too realistic. What would be really great would be a MIDI out to choose the instrument yourself. Overall an amazing tool for content creators.”
