“As a long time Sonos user who owns products various Sonos products , I held off from initially buying the Sub-Mini but I must admit after spring with a Beam Gen 2 I’m quietly impressed by the overall sound Ann’s how it makes the Beam Gen2 come to life. I have Sonos Sun Gen2 and while that rumbles the foundation when watching movies this is more a precise bass sound with less sub bass which for most size rooms is more than sufficient. I would recommend this to anyone, even in a larger space as it looks the part and delivers a quality sound.”

“This is an excellent addition to my Sonos set-up (Beam Gen 2 and 2x Ones as rears) In honesty, there is about enough Bass from the Beam and One's but at times it lacks a little depending on the content watched (plentiful for Dolby Digital content but lacks sometimes on music/non-Dolby content) after watching the SHS video review on the sub-mini and taking advantage of the 30-day money back guarantee trial I thought what do I have to lose? and honestly it's an amazing addition! It gives a new level of bass, has a real punch to it and does free up the other speakers to do more. E.g. I have had to now turn down the surrounds and the speech enhancement on the Beam as now it is just not needed. We have the sub on around 0 and the Bass on 3, beforehand the Bass was on 9-10 so that's just how much difference this sub makes!”

“I paired the Sub-mini with my 5.0 Sonos Beam and Sonos Play system without the Trueplay tuning you don't notice a big difference, however, once you do Trueplay tuning (only available on iPhone), you can notice a sizable difference in sound quality. Definitely a good upgrade to complete the system, but for its list price I have doubts, hence 4 stars on the review.”
