KALME Day Defence Cream 50ml Reviews

4.7 Rating 507 Reviews
has made a great improvement to my skin, hardly any redness at all! The only downside is the texture and that you have to make sure that you have rubbed it in properly as it can leave white streaks on your face!

I have been using this for 2 1/2 weeks now and my face is much less red. I am still having some flare ups but am hoping with continued use these will become less frequent. You don't need to use very much so although expensive I think it will lase a while.

After using the day defence for 2 months ive noticed a difference the redness appears to have calmed down. I still get the occasional spot associated with rosacea but nothing like I was getting beforehand. Might be a coincidence but for what works out at ten pound a month its not worth taking the risk and not using this product. The alternative would be antibiotics which is a big no. One tip I have found is 'less is more' no need to put loads on your face apply thin.

I'm delighted Kalme have reinstated production of SPF25 - it works perfectly for my skin. I much prefer it to SPF30 although SPF30 is easier to spread on. The upsides: it's calming and soothing, and it helps reduce the redness on my skin - mild rosacea and some adult acne. The downsides: yes, it's quite thick and you have to rub it in properly. After applying I add on a little of the Silver Serum - I've certainly seen improvements in the last three weeks. Hopefully it will work for you, too.

. I have been using Kalmes Day Cream SPF 25 and Night Cream for 8 days and my skin is noticeably less angry and red, the areas affected are getting smaller, I have less flushing, I’ve been able to wear just a tinted Sun cream for very sensitive skin and have felt comfortable to show my skin in public were only thick makeup coverage would do before (and even then I was not happy). The effect seems to be cumulative rather than an instant miracle so I would advise using it for a bit before expecting results. If progress continues I expect my Rocasea to be completely unnoticeable very soon. Other than lifestyle changes, no skin care product has reduced my redness and inflammation like this so I’m really happy with the result so far. The creams are light and absorb very well (the day cream needs working in a bit), I have had to use more than my usual amount Liz Earle moisturizer which will make it much more expensive and is the reason I haven’t awarded top marks for affordability. I’ve only been looking for something like this for the past 20 years so it has however been well worth the investment!

Having read so many positive reviews; I almost wonder if I've been sent the wrong product? Poor, basic packaging (looks very amateur - dreadful sticky label over a plain white tube, crinkles if gets wet) - that was my first impression when I opened the pack (it WAS a quick delivery - however I paid for that!) The product itself has a dreadful unappealing texture - like watery, curdled yoghurt. There is no way I could get this to absorb into my skin ( fairly dry, rosacea, mature) - it left a thick white coat , in patches - despite applying a small amount. There is no way I could leave the house wearing this. The only positive I can see is that I could perhaps use this as a night cream / overnight face mask then wash it off in the morning - rather than throwing it away. Oh - and it didn't have any reaction to it, and my skin is sensitive.

After a breakout of roseca spots which I put down to adult acne, I was prescribed with an antibiotic gel and some antibiotics which came with unwanted and nasty side effects. I read articles on what other rosecea sufferes were using to combat this relentless skin condition and came across the day defence moisturiser which I was dubious about, I thought how can a moisturiser possibly be more effective than antibiotics but I decided to give it a go and im glad I did after only a few days use I can see the difference. Fingers crossed in the long run this moisturiser is all I need and no more nasty antibiotics.

I bought this product again after leaving a previous review about the grainy texture of the cream but my second purchase was much improved, the product is silky smooth and saturates the skin well, I just wish it was a little cheaper! I initially started using Kalme products when I had a flare up of rosacea and this range was recommended by a friend. Nothing else worked for me and I was so thankful to find these products.
