“Just received my third bottle of the day defence and after six months use theres a definite improvement. I still get the odd rosacea spot/flare up which is frustrating but as there's no definate cure I think this is the closest ill ever get with just managing the rosacea. The cream is easy to apply and with the sun being a big culprit for rosacea flare ups the spf 25 is a huge bonus. If your looking for a quick fix im afraid there isn't one for rosacea, long term management is the key and kalmes day defence has definitely made an improvement. 6 months ago I was prescribed antibiotics and a gel but the idea of that treatment for life was a huge no. “Used this first time around and it was amazing. Then switched to the new product SPF30, this maybe ok for some but I found my redness seemed to flare up much more with the smoother consistency of the SPF30. The grainy particles are a small price to pay, and they simply disappear on the skin, more so if the bottle is shaken before use. I personally think the price is reasonable compared to other high quality moisturisers on the market and as others have said the cream lasts just over 3 months, only a small amount is needed, and the relief from that stinging and tingling sensation is worth so much more. Just give it a try .”

“I have never been happy with sunscreen products. Having a milder form but still Rosacea and a somewhat sensitive skin and sensitive eyes most SPF products either irritate my skin or my eye or both, cause breakouts, flare ups, itchy skin, red eyes, make up to slide around and even dryness. I also am not a huge fan of chemical sunscreens due to their absorbs ion ability and later studies indicating that some of them actually help cause cell changes instead of preventing them. I also am not a fan of nano technology since we simply don't know what happens to our bodies when these tiny particles can enter our bloodstreams and so on... Anyway. I stumbled upon a blog post of a woman who pretty much matched my description when it comes to having a hard time with sunscreens and a friend of hers had let her test the Kalme mineral SPF 25. And it was the first time in years she could actually enjoy some time in the sun! I just knew I had to try this. And so I did. And my oh my this was a change! It is the weirdest consistency of a cream I have ever tried. It feels like there are some grains in it, and at first that made me a bit scared. But the cream then blends out perfectly and it is easy to put on enough for the SPF to be effective. It does not make me all bluish white in the face. Instead the minerals melts to the skin and the skin feels moisturised, supple and best of all it doesn't itch at all!!!
I doubt you could do a photos hoot with this on without getting a flashback. But if you are just going about your regular life or hang at the beach. This will not look strange on your face. And it protects it so well. I am so glad the SPF is not 50 but 25, since that makes such a little difference when it comes to protection, but such a big difference when it comes to wearability. My Rosacea has completely stopped flaring up since I started using this, the Undercoat and the night cream. So I am forever grateful to this little gem of a skincare company. I will however haunt you for the rest of your lives if you stop making any of these products or stop shipping them to my country should you leave the EU... Just sayin... :)”
“I have suffered from redness and rosacea for years especially around the nose. So much so I have had lazer treatments on spider veins which had limited results. I have had veinwave more recently with much more success and much less discomfort. But I wanted a cream that would reduce inflamation ongoing so reducing reoccurence of veins and redness. Well I have been using the Kalme day cream spf 25 and the night repair for about 5 weeks now and I have to say there has been a real improvement in both the skin and reduction in redness. I shall be also trying the wash from Kalme next as I have been very pleased with results so far from the Kalme products. I hope that this continues. Many thanks for the products.”
“I have mild roseacea and tried this last summer before using the antibiotics that my doctor had suggested. Within days my skin calmed and I immediately stopped experiencing that crawling stinging sensation on hot evenings. I used the cream all summer and it protected well even on hot days, no more skin problems and less redness. I never needed antibiotics. A real test was a few months later when I went to the Caribbean as I thought I may suffer again but it worked a dream. Carried it with me all the time, again no sunburn and no skin problems at all.

It seems expensive for the bottle size but a little really does go a long way. I never use any other skin cream and no other suncream. I dont use it daily unless needed and sometimes use the night cream. I'm back on the site to order more.”
