“Unfortunately, I was unable to buy the walnut bannister even though my order was accepted. I only found out when I rang the company to find out an estimated dispatch date as I had been waiting. i was then told that it would be arriving in 2 days, again it didn't I rang again and was told they were having trouble getting walnut. So i chose the beech alternative. After numerous issues with the delivery company Tuffnells the bannister arrived, not on the date I was told, a day earlier and fortunately, my husband was home. The courier rang the bell and drove off leaving the bannister against my house. Once opened the beech colour was not anything like the picture on the website. I have decided to keep the product and stain it myself. I would not recommend the company and courier service, the quality of the bannister is good.”

Hi Maxine We are really disappointed with the review being totally honest. You changed the order, had a partial refund as expected and the handrail was delivered in the time frame. Had you of emailed with your concerns we would have helped you sort the issues out. Tuffnells still unfortunately offer a contact free delivery where they do leave it if no one answers. We also added notes to Tuffnells stating this was important as you needed it in a hurry hence why it was left. I’m sorry you feel that way but we are glad you are happy with the quality of our products. Simplehandrails.co.uk

“Very pleased with walnut handrail.Only slight criticism is that the s/s ends needed tape on the plastic ends to stop ends falling off. Apart from that very satisfied with the quality.”

“Rail was slightly bowed and fittings that came with it did not seem to match, it was difficult to get it fixed to the wall and took some time.”

“Arrived ok with no problems. I haven't fitted it yet, but I wish I'd asked for 20cm to be cut off, as its too long with the ends on, so I have to leave them off.”
