“I can’t event really comment on the performance of the watch as I had to return it right away. Followed all the startup instructions and got to the point where it was trying to download a firmware update to get started. It took about 10 times to actually get through the update (kept disconnecting from my phone). When I got to trying to sync my local courses, I ran into the same issue - watch would not stay connected to my phone long enough to download. Ended up returning for a new V5”

“Not as good as my V3.. The scroll button catches on your glove and alters settings if the watch is not locked. Also it has a software fault, when scrolling through some in game actions it continues to scroll. Very distracting especially when you’re concentrating on your game. Have requested a refund.”

“Aside from the fact that the bracelet is inexplicably backwards, the distances measured by the GPS are not accurate, differing by up to 10 meters compared to those measured with the rangefinder, or my Garmin S40. It's a shame, because the statistics it could provide, once you learn how to correct the data (which the sensors on the clubs sometimes get lost...) in the round review function, would be very useful in understanding how to correct your strategy on the course.”

“I bought an ex-demo version in February this year, I loved every 9 holes round I played in the winter season, how it shows the hazards (big enough numbers not to need my reading glasses), the new hole view is great. I love the shot scope stats. But. I noticed that with my first spring 18 holes round, the battery didn't last the full 18 holes. Granted, It was a long one lasting 4:50 hours as the caddy master seemed to have planned all 2 balls behind our 4 ball that we had to let through, but at 5% battery life left, the watch was only capable of regstering my tee shot, after that it didn't see my wedge or putter, leaving me with a hole-in-one on 18 :-) which I didn't deserve. I don't mind a poor battery, I don't play twice a day, and the touchscreeen is likely draining much of it, but it should at least be capable of lasting 18 holes. The V5 seems to be more dependable, but that wasn't an option yet back in Feb. I'd recommend the V5, but not the X5.”

“Played a round and saved it on the watch. When I went to upload it says that it is connected and syncing rounds but no information shows up to use. Functions strictly as a gps watch.”

“I’ve only had the opportunity to use 7 times. Not once did the tracking device work. The auto lock feature is driving me Crazy. You try to keep unlocking with the little dial as you are playing golf. The slide up the screen feature does k no it work very well. Either I have weird skin as it doesn’t register or the lock symbol only goes 3/4 of the way up.”

“I'm sure I can take some of the blame for lack of tech skills but I can't seem to navigate my way through this system. There are a lot of moving parts and it's confusing. Hopefully more YouTube instruction will help. More concerning is short battery life. My last two rounds the watch died before I completed 18 holes.”
