I love this watch! I gave it to myself as a birthday gift. There were minor changes in my home course that needed an update, and they made it really fast! When I'm on the course, the watch is easy to use, and with all the information on your wrist, you can improve your performance and course management. Once you are at home, you can see all the data of your round and compare it with the last round to track your improvement. Excellent watch!

I used the 1st watch, I have used the V3, , the V5, the Connex and the I currently use the X5. All the product have been great! My only issue is that I think the straps shoud should be longer. I have larger wrist and the watch is rather tight. That is why I went to the connex. However, with the Connex I had to keep pulling my phone out or I forgot to tap all together. I found myself looking at my and nothing was there. So I went to the X5 and all is right in the world (EXCEPT FOR THE STRAP!). Please Shot Scope used longer straps. Other than this great products all around and I would recommend. I gifted my 1st watch to one of my buddies and he loves it. I gifted the V3 to another buddy and his game improved significantly. Since I have been using the product my handicap has come from a +25 down to a 14.

Other than getting used to how it works on the course and off--The only major flaw is the band--It can only be used opposite of how I where my watch band. They say there is a sensor only on the short band with the buckle side. Makes no sense to me. So you fumble around trying to put the watch on backwards of what you are used to. I wear an Apple watch most of the time for fitness purposes-so this is a real problem for me. Doesn't feel right.

I purchased this watch after owning a Garmin S62 and after trying a half dozen apps for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Garmin has good hardware and technology but is way too expensive and the data is not presented the way I wanted. I also didn't want to pay even more money for sensors just to get short game stats. Another thing that dawned on me is that golf is just a tiny part of the Garmin portfolio and it takes a back seat. Some of the apps for the GW5P were good but none checked all the boxes. The X5 is the most complete and accurate so far, no issues but have only used it twice and then winter hit. Connection to sensors is milliseconds, GPS accuracy is very good and it is user friendly. Most of all the process that they recommend to review your round on a PC or tablet makes sense to me. I don't think any of these devices will be 100% accurate and I like to review my round after anyway. I liken it to when pros review their scorecard for accuracy after a round. All that said, I can always find areas for improvement and would gladly provide my thoughts to Shot Scope if they wish.

I had a v2 and then a v3. Then I switched to a garmin s62; after a few rounds, I returned to shotscope for an x5. It was easier to use and provided more data. Customer service is amazing - even with my silly questions. Garmin may be #1 in name, but Shotscope is #1 in ease of use, performance, and data collection.
