“The shotscope V5 gives a very clear display in bright sunlight and locks on the correct course (we have two and previous GPS used to switch courses regularly!). I have had the watch for 3 weeks now (6 rounds of golf) and there are issues. First, it's easy to forget to ensure that the club has been registered by the V5. This should happen automatically (via the strap), but on 20% (roughly) of occasions it does not do so and is easily missed. Also, it's easy not to register each putt correctly. It would be great if each hole could be amended easily on course when the penny drops that you've missed recording a shot! This means that the round has to be downloaded and corrected before signing off. Downloading is to the App on my mobile and to do this all other Bluetooth devices need to be disconnected. For me, this means afterwards I have to reconnect my car, Fitbit, smart speaker etc each time I've downloaded a round. To overcome this I've added the App to my tablet (Galaxy A11+) and so I can amend rounds on that. However, there is a software glitch so, when adding an additional stroke that I have missed during the round, the software does not give the option to touch the course image where the shot was played from. I have raised this with Shotscope support, who were very helpful and have referred the issue to the design team. Overall, then, it's a great addition to the 'golfing experience' but, it is a bit fiddly and, in my view, there are some issues that need attention. In particular, ensuring that the watch registers the club and making bluetooth downloading far easier (and maybe automatically?)”

“I plumped for the Grey as the Black was out of stock. When it arrived, a quick look at the box suggested it had never been opened. When the first box was open, all the smaller boxes inside were also unopened. I can only say, I’ve managed to get a “Brand New” one, that at worst appears to have been delivered to a shop and returned having never been looked at because it was Grey. It actually looks better than expected, and works exactly as hoped.”

“The performance of the watch are great let’s you know where your game needs improvement. 5 stars on smoothness of operation. 4 stars because the watch band barely fits around my wrist. 2” longer would make it perfect for larger wrist golfers.when you’re team makes different size bands please message me because the v5 is a great watch!”

“The distance feature is average. However, if you get a hole conceeded or for any reason do not walk on the green the watch does not advance to the next hole,”
