“I used it in one 18 holes round of golf so far. Scanning was extra job and not being in my pre shot routine but I quickly get used to. I might miss one scan but quickly fix it on the golf course using add the shot feature. GPS accuracy is not the greatest but OK. I fixed some shot locations later during my review/edit. Dashboard or performance or rather saying statistics are the best part of all package. Amazing amount of data driven by SG. It tells me my shortcomings and what I already might know but with a great deal of details. Every club and every hole has its own SG number telling me my weaknesses like is it because of shot from the rough or the distance is an issue, etc. I bought it on sale for 70$ but one day later the sale increases and I curiosly asked for refund consideration. I got it next day. It tells me all regarding the customer support. All in all I am extremely happy with this purchase so far and strongly recommends it. It will be interesting to write you another review when I play like 7-10 rounds of golf. It is a great value to me so far.”

“No subscription is perfect! Interface with app is laggy and it crashes. Some of my courses aren’t showing correct par for that hole. It’s a great app and product, just needs some updates…”

“First time user. The concept and data you get are great, but the in-game software for tracking is clunky and awkward (I’m comparing to “the grint”) Manual Crampsey dot post round is fairly straightforward but during the round there were times that I wasn’t sure what to do, how to adjust or what position/score it had set for each shot/hole. I would say that, with no subscription fee, it’s pretty impressive but could be sooo much better”

“The product works well and the analysis is very good, however…. the advertising indicates that you can just tap the tags on the phone whilst it is in your pocket to select a club, this is misleading, you need to open your phone and click to select each club which is significantly slower and takes a lot of time, especially whilst putting. This means I only use the connex when playing solo as it slows down the round when playing in a group.”

Hi Richard, You can leave the app on "scan mode" and scan through your pocket. It may take a bit of trial and error to get the position good in your pocket but you can do this. If you need some assistance please contact our support team at support@shotscope.com

“I have only played 1 round with these so far and it was not too difficult, although I missed a couple of drives and had to add these later in the online computer app. Masses of data which will help as rounds increase. Unfortunately we were on temperary greens so did not match the standard course template but again this should improve as more rounds are added. I did a 3 off the Tee second shot and couldn't find any way to add this as there only seems to be a 1 shot penalty.”
