“The product does what it says in the description, but it doesn’t work for me on the course. I used arccos before and for me they are easier to use. With Connex I have to use my phone to scan at each shot and that just takes too long and sometimes it reads double the score is not correct.”

“These tags are really good value @ £69.99. And work well, however I didnt keep them as I found it a bit awkward to tap on my phone....I think this is more me as I use a Shot Scope laser (Brilliant) and also England Golf to load my scores and I found I was spending too much time loading the info...If you are not doing this, or more disciplined that I am they will work really well....Accurate and easy to fit.”

“Improvements recommended: Look at Golf Pad operations of a swipe left move from recording shot to GPS map of hole. I find it much easier to switch between screens. Hard to see confirmation that a stroke has been recorded. Maybe make the current hole shot count on the hole could be made more prominent to see. Why isn’t the ready to record clubs a temporary overlay on the gps view that disappears when the club selection is recorded? Why does the phone vibrate and make a sound when the record your clubs screen appears but not club sensor is near. Should only do this when club is recorded for a shot. Maybe once a club sensor is recorded it could be displayed for four seconds during which it could be cancelled and another club scanned or the shot could be recorded as positional for less than full shots for better full shot distances. I would be happy to provide more input if requested. Interestingly your survey system will not allow a rating below good. I wonder if the rating results are tied to some compensation program.”

“Although I haven't used this a lot yet, I do feel that it is fairly easy to use. I belive that as I use it more I will have a better understanding of how it works. I love the real time view of the hole and the yardages as you play and even works to let others know in your group their yardages to the pin. I like that fact that it keeps the stats for you and you can see where your game is improving or what you need to work on. It is also nice to keep stats of different of different clubs that you use, such as a driver. If you have a couple of different drivers, this will tell you exactly which one you hit better, no guess work.”

“Very disapointed. Easy to forget to tag, and having to pin collect on each hole is time consuming and has annoyed other golfers as it contributes to slow play. NOT BEING COMPATIBLE WITH WATCHES IS ANNOYING. I BOUGHT CONNEX AND CANT GET ON WITH IT. THEN BOUGHT A SECOND HAND V3 WATCH AND MY CONNEX TAGS DONT WORK WITH IT. THAT MEANS I,VE SPENT WELL OVER £100 SO FAR AND STILL HAVE NO SUITABLE SYSTEM. I NOW NEED TO PURCHASE DIFFERENT TAGS TO WORK WITH THE WATCH. LEAVING CONNEX UNUSED. NOW TOTALLY DISILUSIONED WITH THE PRODUCTS DUE TO WASTED MONEY WHICH I COULDN,T AFFORD TO LOSE. MAYBE IT,S TIME TO GIVE UP GOLF OF GO BACL TP SCORECARD AND PENCIL”

“Takes a little to get used to but three rounds in I’m really enjoying it, it’s become normal to pull my phone out and tap the club now and adding penalties has become easier. As an amateur golfer it’s handy I’ve not had to sign up to anything and it quickly shows my improvement from the last round. As I use it more I’m delving into the records after each round and it’s shows a lot.”
