I love it! I compared the performance against the launch monitor at the driving range and against my PRGR launch monitor I had for two years. The LM1 numbers were on par with the other launch monitors. Yes! I also appreciate the big display and text versus the tiny PRGR. The LM1 didn't read a couple of my swings, but compared to the PRGR misreads, the overall performance was so much better. Very satisfied with LM1. Thank you!

Not the most features but for $200 it gives you decent feedback on your numbers. That said it’s a little temperamental and sometimes it just stops reading shots.

For the money this is a fantastic piece of kit. You get instant feedback on the important things you look for in your golf swing.

My lofts don’t match the standard lofts and they can’t be adjusted. E.g., my 5 iron is a 4 iron in the system, and it’s still not aligned. This creates small spreads that ultimately impact my game. Readings feel accurate for specific wedges.

Hi, Sorry about that. Our lofts are based on the more standard traditional lofts for clubs. We do include a loft guide sheet with the LM1 that shows this so you can adjust what club you use to more line up with the loft we use. If you need more help with that just contact us at support@shotscope.com

For $200 I can't complain - it gives immediate feedback on swing speed, ball speed and distance, and the numbers appear to be fairly accurate. As others have said, the built-in loft assumptions for each club (which affect the reported numbers) do not match up with most modern clubs - it would be nice to be able to enter your own club lofts, but I don't know if that's possible through software changes since the device itself appears to be hard coded without any way to update. Another drawback is that you can't mark up the individual shot results from your sessions on the Shotscope dashboard - all you can do is filter by club and date. But if, say, I'm playing around with adding lead weights to a club, it would be nice to be able to mark individual shots so that I could differentiate between weighted and unweighted shots. Conclusion - it could definitely be improved, but it's fine what it is.

Very impressed with how easy it is to use. For the very reasonable cost it is accurate and makes you want to use it with how quick it is deployed. I own a Bushnel LPI (Indoor), Garmin R10 and Garmin G82. THe ShotScope is by far the funnest to use when out with friends or a quick range day. The one small negative I have is that my irons are lofted more traditional and the preset on this unit is not adjustable to match my set. Also no 2 iron... Wish there I could fine tune for my personal set of clubs. But easy enough to select appropriate iron to offset the settings for use (as recommended). Again for the price the ShotScope is not beatable. Recomend, pick one up!

I found the LM1 very easy to use. Intuitive interface, not fussy about placement. I haven't checked the accuracy on ball distance against another source, but nothing it has reported seems unusual for me. Swing speed does match up with other sources I've used for that. I recommend this if the feature set meets your needs.

Nice compact design. Only downside is no spin rate. Easy to operate.
