“I bought this LM for my grandson's 18th birthday. He loves it! He really likes the fact he can carry it in his pocket and uses it on every shot. The only thing lacking from this is spin rate, but it has everything-else. I don't think you can beat it for the money. I'm probably going to get one for myself.”

“Great, easy to use launch monitor, immediate feedback. Seems to be very accurate for me on 6 iron through Lob wedge. I think on the longer clubs, for me that would be D, 5 and 7W, and 5 iron; it over states the distance. Has me hitting those longer than they actually go. I think it may calculate the distance based on optimal spin, so if you have a little higher spin on those clubs, like I do, or sidespin, then it will say you are hitting farther than you do. But, I got this to dial in my yardage on 6-LW, so it is ideal for me!”

“Really like the portability and simplicity of use. Has just the numbers I need for ball striking practice. Works well in my garage/net setup. Not worried about hook and slice, that will show up when I take it out to the range. Very happy with unit and the price is so affordable. Game changer. Great job Shot Scope!”

“I’ve been using the LM1 almost ever since it showed up at my house a couple weeks ago. I have been throughly impressed into what this company has been able to fit into a portable launch monitor at $200. I use the LM1 mostly on the range to dial in my club gapping and get a feel about how well I’m compressing the ball. To that end, I’ve been mostly satisfied by the LM1’s ability to give me what I feel are mostly accurate readings. However, I know for a fact the LM1’s internal formula is a little flawed. I’ve seen readings where my 7 iron carries the same distance as my driver. That being said, it’s a useful product for the most part. However, I’d love to see the next iteration of this design. I feel like this product is a few small changes away from being perfect. Attack angle, launch angle, and spin rate would be immediate improvements. At the very least, the LM1 v2 should at least have its internal formula tweak to compensate for distance lost by the launch angle. It’s strange to hit a pull hook drive that goes 30 yards left but yet the LM1 carry and total distance readings are unaffected Overall, I’m impressed and love the price point. I believe if this company continues to innovate while keeping the average consumer in mind I only see good things in the future. If ShotScope were on the NASDAQ I’d be buying!”

“Great customer service. Questions answered promptly. Fun tool to use on the range. I’ve got a few hundred balls on the range and confirmed most of my club yardages (carry distance). I’m sure there is a range ball factor compared to actual game balls. I’d like to use it on course but don’t need the extra stress it adds. Perhaps later when I’ve got more experience with it.”
