“I have been using a Voice Caddy SC200 for about eight years. With the release of the LM1, I thought it was a good time to replace it. The LM1 seems to provide similar data, with the occasional anomalies, so I have no big complaints about the performance. I appreciate being able to recharge the LM1 and not needing to constantly replace the batteries like in the SC200. I thought it was odd that loft angles are not adjustable with the LM1, and I do miss having a remote to change club selection. My biggest complaint, however, is how difficult it is to synchronize practice data to the Shop Scope app. I have to disconnect my Garmin Approach from my iPhone's Bluetooth in order to complete a synchronization, which is not ideal.”

“It's been great to have the LM1 provide accurate information for all clubs in the bag. I've only used it on the driving range so far, so the launch and distance info for all clubs has helped refine my club choices when I'm playing a round. I hope to use it during some evening 9 hole rounds to get a better idea of the ball I'm currently playing and whether I can optimize spin and trajectory with my irons. I also like the smash factor feature, but note that range balls often don't produce decent results for someone like me (HC 5).”

“Had it up and running at the driving range without really reading the instructions and it took about a minute to figure out which button did which! Super easy and intuitive. A few of us used it on the range and the figures it produces align with how we hit...so for the money, I think its unbeatable.”

“I traded in my Garmin R10 to purchase this device and I am very happy that I did. I can set this up in seconds and utilize it on the course with no issues. The one question that I have and concern it creates is that the smash factor seems way off. I have had some reading of 1.8 (not possible and not accurate). I don't know who to speak to at the company to see what the issue is as the customer service is only via email and I do not have a phone number to reach out.”

“I know there is always skepticism about how this type of LM can be accurate enough. While close, it’s not a Trackman or a Quad Max. This is a handy tool to take out to the range to get consistent numbers. Find general distances, and make sure you are staying consistent, even in front of a Net indoor/outdoor. Test and train your speed as well. A Fantastic value. Compact and easy to stuff in your bag.”

“I love that the unit is compact and covers the "key" swing metrics if you want to track speed and distance. I really like that unit can measure and track all the clubs in your bag. I look forward to comparing results to a Bushnell monitor for accuracy vs "high dollar" monitor.”

“The LM 1 worked great right out of the box. It gives close distances to all my clubs & will be a nice welcomed addition to my practice sessions & speed training. The screen is easy to read & it’s easy to use & set up. All my friends like it.”
