Very good value for what it is. There are a couple things that could be improved via software improvements: The Club Chart that is included shows the assumed lofts for each club, ranging from 9.5 for Driver to 60 for Lob Wedge. But there are some pretty big gaps in the range - most amateur golfers use a higher-lofted driver (11 or even 12 degrees), would be nice to have that as one of the clubs. Ditto for the wedges - big gap between 9 iron (40 degrees) and PW (46 degrees); big gap between GW (50 degrees) and SW (56 degrees). Another problem is that when you upload practice range results to your dashboard, the only way to distinguish between shots is by date and and shot number. I've been playing around with adding some lead weights to my clubs to see if they affect my swing speed, ball speed, carry distance, etc. It would be great if there were a way to tag individual shots (or sets of shots) with some sort of editing feature. Despite the limitations, it's a great little product that is very easy to use!

I have had the LM1 for about 3 weeks now and the benefits I have received are fantastic! I am now able to see what my carry is for each of my clubs and this is valuable when there are hazards in play on the holes. With my Shot Scope watch, I could only see the total distance on each club. Also have the capability to have a Bluetooth connection to my Shot Scope app, I can keep info there also. I would recommend the LM1 to players.

Really enjoy it out on the range, like being able to go through the data after a session. Wish you could add and remove clubs to just what you have in your bag or on the app so it would be less to scroll through. On the app my biggest wish is that it would compile all the data over time to “map your bag” so you could see from all sessions your compiled range and quickly look at the app to see what club to use based on distance.

Pretty accurate for distance. Very easy to use. Would like it to automatically go through the ball speed, swing speed, etc. settings rather than having to toggle to them

I bought this to bridge the gap from my Square LM since it cant be used outside. Works great for me as I only need Range Data before my rounds for Carry distance. Very Accurate and convienant size.

I finally received my pre-ordered LM1 about 2 months following my order. I'm sure they were flooded with orders based on the price and capability - even considering the limitations - and it's still a great tool for us "weekend warriors"! I think the 5 data points it provides gives me more information than I had before without (expensive) lessons and can document improvement following thos (expensive) lessons. The one hit/opportunity for improvement that I have is in the "club menu". I was able to build my bag according to what I have; Driver, 4W, 7W, 9W, 11W, 6-9I, PW, GW, 56. But when I went to record a range session, the club selection didn't translate to my bag (or at least I didn't know how to) so I had to improvise. For instance my 4W is recorded as a 3W, 7W as 7W, 11W as 3H. Is there a way/can the software be updated to allow a menu-driven selection when recording shot data? Maybe select a number 01-99, then a letter D, W, H, or I - this wouls allow not only standard club designations, but custom lofts as well. The LM1 is a great product, simple to set-up, simple to use in conjunction with the app. I think this one "tweek" would make it even more universal. And if this capability already exists, please forgive my ignorance and put out an updated note to the app as to how to use the menu-driven club selection. Thank you.
