“You need this for a Pi5B. Tried all sorts of other power supplies, even one for a MacBook Pro and a 270W generic unit, and find all except this one result in Pi 5 issuing a warning that power to peripherals will be restricted.
The Pi 5 at first glance looks like it will run on a regular USB-C power supply, but in reality it needs this one specifically.”

HOWEVER, it is not as good for EMC - add a ferrite core on the cable, and you're good to go”
