Very easy to install and is effective at cooling for general work loads. Fan rarely spins for my workload.

The active cooler for Pi 5 is a must have, if you own a Pi 5 and don't have a cooler then expect a reduced life. It fits nicely to the board, is quite quiet and has a dedicated port so that it doesnt take up any GPIO pins.

Doesn’t really seem to help keep the pi cool and I had to pay more than the price of the product and shipping in import duty. Disappointing.

The cooler is highly effective at managing the increased heat generated by the more powerful Raspberry Pi 5. It keeps the CPU temperatures well within safe limits, even under heavy loads, which is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and longevity. The design is compact and integrates seamlessly with the Raspberry Pi 5, making it easy to install without adding much bulk.

It works but may not be good enough on its own. During some heavy computation Pi 5 can go up to 56.0'C, with an extra external fan you can get the temperature of the Pi 5 down to 46 .0'C. So I think on its own its good but needs help. I am also not sure about the impact of a case on this. I am using a piBow, will need to investigate some more to be able to tell.
