“Cooler is good and almost silent even under load. However, having the cooler does limit what sort of cases I can have.
Not sure why the heatsink only have contacts to the CPU, bluetooth, and the cluster of small chips in the left cornerm but not the ram or the IO contrller which I have seen with other aftermarket fans.”
“I haven't gotten much use out of it yet, but it's nice to know that it's there. The active cooler turns on when the Pi reboots, but turns itself off if the Pi doesn't need it.”
