“I have a cluster of 24 Raspberry Pis that are in desperate need of cooling. At the same time, I don't want to bother my wife with the noise. I've experimented with multiple low-profile fans, but the lack of PWM was an absolute no-go. Then I found out about the active cooler and ordered 24 of them. It took me way longer to remove the previous ones than to install the active cooler, thanks to the snap-on mount. Since then - I'm happy as the office room does not require me to wear headphones anymore, my wife is happy, and Pi's are nicely cooled down. I regret wasting two months on attempts to lower the noise levels, including the car audio mat insulation within the rack, but it was an excellent learning curve.”
