“I am very happy with my Raspberry Pi 5, my notebook is unimportand now.
Since I have received my package I am in love with the performance of my new Pi.
Until today, I just have one isue that make me wondering, in the last 7 weeks in use my attached ssd(my boot device as well) I lost 3 times the content of the /boot/overlays/ directory and no idea why.
I allways shutdown my pi5 with a clean sudo shutdown now and the problem showed up after I repowered my pi 5 next time.
As a solution I copied the content from a sd card and it was no problem to boot from the ssd.
Today I edited the /boot/config.txt(added the lines
max_usb_current=1
program_usb_timeout=1
and hopefully this solved the issue).
But apart from this, I love the raspberry pi 5 soooo much!!!”
