“Seems very fast and a completely different beast from the early version Pi’s. I don’t like the fact that it runs quite warm in moderate use, but more importantly I somehow managed to corrupt the boot loader during initial setup so that it wouldn’t boot up when next I switched on. Wasted a lot of time trying to work out what was wrong and burnt several images on spare micro SD cards - all to no avail. Eventually found a remedy on the raspberrypi.org website for repairing the boot loader”

“The new Raspberry Pi is a brilliant, fast addition to the range. Very, very impressed; but I couldn't find a way of getting the KIVY graphics engine to work with it, sadly. Perhaps the Kivy developers will investigate, and then the combination will be very valuable indeed.”
