“Great step up from V3 and the 2GB Ram does for most applications. Very flexible and adaptable. It does run very warm though, even when not doing much, and so you need to add at least a heatsink, and give some consideration to its housing and/or airflow.”
“The Raspberry Pi 4 is an awesome bit of kit. But most people know that now anyway, however not everyone knows what a great bunch of people Pimoroni are! I had a problem with a Pi4 that failed 6 months after I bought it. “As good as promised so far- running as a navigational Chart Plotter with OpenCPN. As yet to test out with all inputs so I cannot say whether it'll get overloaded. The Pi3 was OK but tended to lock up occasionally. hopefully this will improve matters?”
