Doesn't get as warm as I was fearing in actual use, even better with a heatsink case. For those that are debating, a lot of the artificial tests to get it to thermal throttle you will get absosultely no where near in real life and when you get a mo check the processor temperature of your laptop or phone I'll bet you your Pi is cooler!
Got 2GB for the price of what used to be 1GB, bargain. Already had some HDMI adapters to fit some laptops we have so this didn't phase us. Feel as though it will cope with the next 10 years of tinkering and tweaking.”
“Great step up from V3 and the 2GB Ram does for most applications. Very flexible and adaptable. It does run very warm though, even when not doing much, and so you need to add at least a heatsink, and give some consideration to its housing and/or airflow.”
