Te quality of the images is amazing, and the example Python code is very easy to use and to adapt for bigger projects. Love my two Inky Impressions.

The screen was well packed, it looks incredible and it arrived in a very reasonable time. What more can one wish for? (Except for a European warehouse so I don't have to pay import taxes for my next project.. )

The hardware is amazing. People who think this product is overpriced think again. Yields are very low for larger e-ink screens. The build quality is also two steps better than waveshare displays. The price checks out. Also Pimoroni customer service is awesome. I am working the product into a self built digital photo frame. But it will also show generated dashboards. Black on white text is nice to read. Also the software libraries from Pimoroni are well documented and the examples really help. Much appreciated. The display and a raspberry pi zero 2W is a seamless, neat and very servicable combo.

(Regarding the 13.3" model) It's a beautiful display and much higher resolution and color accuracy than the previous models. Obviously the color accuracy in general is not great in comparison to something like an LCD screen, since it's only six colors, but those colors a much brighter than the pre-2025 models, and the dithering of the python library is quite good, so unless you have the original image to compare colors, you'd likely not notice. That said, the example python image script messes with the aspect ratio, so I suggests you resize/crop your pictures before running them through it (easy with a simple imagemagick command). The display is almost exactly 8.5"x11", so it fits almost perfectly in a frame for that size *from the front*. The board fits in the 8.5" direction, with only a small line on the top/bottom, as long as you pad inside the frame to center it, but needs more room in the 11" direction, as the board is about 11.5". So as long as you can cut some of the back of the frame out to make room for it, it will fit, and if you mat it into a larger frame, then you can accomodate the differences anyway. I had some issues where the white wasn't displaying as white, but customer service was great and got me a replacement in no time.

Image looks way better in real life than it does on the website.

Fantastic e-ink screen. Much quicker updating than the previous iterations and makes for a good calendar/weather display.

Very nice display and the 13" size is impressive. Used the same https://github.com/fatihak/InkyPi build mentioned by someone else in the reviews and got it to work with relatively few issues. The refresh speed is much better than previous Inky Impressions, but still slow enough that it would suit something you want updated every 5 minutes, not 30 seconds. Picture quality is excellent, including full colour pictures. You do need good lighting to make the most of the screen. It makes really quiet clicking noises when redrawing the screen (apparently normal for this screen based on some posts I found) so I would not have it in the bedroom if noise bothers you. It fits well in a standard A4 picture frame, but the screen itself is smaller than A4 so you will need to mask small parts of the device if you want to only see the screen through the frame
