“Although it does work, every time it refreshes, the screen spends about 20 seconds flashing. If I'd known the screen would continuously flash like that every refresh, I wouldn't have bought it. My suggestion to the makers of this screen: allow us to do partial refreshes! Don't force every single refresh to be a full refresh!”

Thanks for the review. I believe the refresh behaviour is handled by the built-in controller on this screen so it's not something we can modify in software I'm afraid.
