“Even though I know how to solder it was easier for me to just buy a headered Pico. My last experience with programming microcontrollers was over 20 years ago. Not much has changed, but the Pico does not disappoint. It is fast enough for the little experiments with the Pimoroni Pico Display Pack 2.0 but only if you avoid MicroPython and go straight to programming with C (using Arduino IDE for example).”
