“Quality product that fits nicely to help reduce the temperature. It's real quiet too and the software is great to tweak when the fan is triggered. Fantastic documentation online to help you through the process end to end. Would recommend folks grab this because the Pi4 is a hotter than you might have envisaged. Don't do what I did and pay for delivery again. Buy it when you get your pi. Fast delivery from the guys as always.”

“I have to say that overall it’s an excellent and intelligent solution to cooling the RPi 4B. The only thing I would ask is if in future revisions it could have a slow spin up because now and then the HDMI resets when the fan is set to come on at a particular temp.
Has anyone else seen this happen?”
“Excellent. With the Fam SHIM installed you can keep your RPi4 at 55C without any heat sinks. Literally you don't need a heat sink at all, just the Fan SHIM.”
