“Works perfectly. After getting my Pi4/4GB, I was a little underwhelmed - having believed all the hype - by its performance running four fairly undemanding Docker containers on Raspbian Buster Lite. I did a little basic debugging, and discovered of course that the board was getting too hot and throttling itself - how I wished I'd just ordered the Fan Shim with the Pi. No matter: it gave me an excuse to pick up a couple of other things, and arrived after only a few days' wait - very impressive, since I'm in Vienna. Installation was very straightforward (albeit slightly hampered by me not remembering which of my Pis was the new one - accidentally took a few things offline unplugging the wrong ones!), and now my Pi is unthrottled and powering through anything I throw at it. Highly recommended.”
“Excellent fan, the device itself keeps the device cool perfectly but the only complaint is the volume of the fan.
The supporting scripts are fantastic for having full control of the fan, I use the LED control to disable as the Pi is on view and i'm not keen on the light being on show.”

(-) Why (on earth) did you use BCM18? Why not BCM4?? Every DAC I know of uses BCM18... Rpi 4/4 with a DAC and the Fan SHIM would be such a Media player/server gem :(”
