“The RPi4 in particular runs hot. I love the Fan Shim. I have tweaked it to come on at around 48C. It is able to keep CPU temperature around 50C under almost every condition I've put at it, even considering it sits in one of the hottest rooms in my house.”
“Nice bit of kit. Barely audible up close and not at all from ~2 metres. Not tried the software control yet. Added a 40 pin booster header to allow fitting of the Pi4 heatsink underneath it and inside a Pimorini Pi4 coupé case. Works nice as a cooling combo.”
