“Excellent and keeping the Pi 4 cool in a regulated way.
One issue was the interference fit shim. The button and LED were not working but the fan was. It appears the issue was poor GPIO connections. The fan controller pin was good but the other not. I bent the 6 pins used by the board slightly outwards to improve the connection and on restarting everything works as expected.”
“Works perfect. A tiny soft sound, otherwise as described. Keeps my nextcloud server on a RPi 3B+ cool and CPU at constant high speed when required. Before it could reach close to 80°C and go down to 600MHz, now it stays at max speed and max 60°C even at 100% load.”
