“The one thing that scared me is how the border of the screen shade irregularly after switching it off, I thought it was dying. But it appears to be normal and it works like a charm nevertheless. It is a good value!
The installation was a one-line bash script, no problem with raspian. It fits nicely on my raspberry pi 3. I had a smaller/cheaper 2.4inch screen before that could only do about 7fps. Due to the 60fps of this one qualifies as a real screen which allows to play games and watch videos etc. I am really excited, loving my rig. I am a musician and I can run Reaper, the digital audio workstation software, on it to make music!
I also love Linux distros in general for the freedom of mind, I dumped windows about ten years ago. I got an affordable mini laptop now!”
“Works great - exactly as advertised.
Two complaints:
1. I can't seem to find a case that holds it.
2. When Raspbian shuts down, the backlight remains on. Would prefer it turned off immediately when not getting signal so I wouldn't need to remove power.”
