Very nice display for the pi. It looks good and the resolution is realy good. Everything works like a charm with the installer. Touchscreen is very good calibrated by stock. I can just recommend it

Great little screen, touch is precise, needs some tweaking to work on RPi 3b+ correctly but not a huge hassle. I'd buy another one if I needed it.

Initial impression very good (delivered on time and well packed) but when installed on B+ running Raspbian 8 I experienced some very "strange" colour effects (including some areas which were the correct colours, indicating to me that the display was at least capable of correct operation). Contact with Pimoroni support suggested it may be an OS problem related to multiple access of the GPIO pins by other software and suggested trying Raspbian Buster. This seemed to solve the problem and the display is now functioning as originally expected; I am very impressed by the clarity and resolution of this display but have yet to try the touch facility.

Works great and easily installed. I wish I had realised that the gpio pins we're all in use when this is fitted. I now have to fit an i2c gpio board to make this work with my project.

This is clearly a high-quality offering from Pimoroni, but with some flaws and drawbacks that will probably be addressed in time: (1) Be very, very careful when attaching or removing the headers or inserting or removing from a Pi; there is very little to hold on to that isn't the glass, and the glass is fragile. (2) Mine suffers from flickering streaks across unsaturated coloured or grey areas, which is annoying. (3) I'm not sure whether the driver software would allow you to use it as anything other than the primary desktop display -- any tutorial help from Pimoroni on how to use it as an alternative display would be very much appreciated :-)
