Had some problems setting up (Raspberry Pi:3) the 'Pirate Radio' and took me some time to figure out that 'my' installation wouldn't play nice with Raspbian Buster Lite (2019-06-20), I had a very quick scan through the CLI's output and noticed a few errors, the most I managed was playing an example mp3 file but the buttons wouldn't work. I installed Raspbian Stretch Lite (2018-11-13) and all was good, Radio playing and Airplay setup and also working.
Maybe this helps someone else and I'm sure the good folk at Pimoroni are working hard on Buster comparability :0)”
