“This case was easy to construct and fits securely on the Pi Zero W.
It would maybe be more convenient if the SD card could be removed without having to dismantle the case, but that is a minor problem only during set-up and testing.
All in all I am very happy with the Pibow Zero W.”
“I like the case visually, but it would be nice to have more options.
The idea behind a case made of slices is really neat, but it would be nice to have replacement panels to get extra functionality for different projects. For example you do not always need GPIO hole. Sometimes you need an extra compartment for a battery. SD card access hole might also be useful.
In other words:
I do recommend it if you like the style and you are satisfied with all-purpose case. Otherwise red-white pi case has more customisation.”
“A great little case that is easy to assemble and protects my Zero W. The SD card is locked in by the case meaning that children cant come along and pull the card out of your running Pi!
The only downside was that it arrived in a purple and white spotted paper bag which left me stuck in working thinking about pick and mix sweets all day.”
“It is just beautiful . Easy to assemble and great to look at. Perfect to the RPi Zero W . It just sits perfect in there ! The only downside I see is you have to disassemble it to remove the SD Card”
“Lovely little case, with a nice snug fit on the Pi Zero W.
I wish that the top two layers had a slight cutout in them on the left hand side to give access to the SD card, and without getting creative with trimmed headers and trying to solder into the holes int he PCB, it is not possible to have headers on the run switch or composite video conections (despite the cutout in the bottom layer) as the red layer fits over these holes.
Otherwise I am really happy with it!”
“I picked one of these up in person from Sandy (of Bilgetank fame) along with a Pi Zero W at Maker Faire Berlin a couple of weeks back. I use it with a 4tronix Picon Zero motor controller and it does a great job of protecting the Pi while keeping the motor controller fully accessible.”
