Lovely case in retro colours .. can populate the pins on the zero from top or bottom! AWESOME! ... but enclosed SD card was a little disappointing ... I think it might help in some situations but not for prototyping.

The PiBow case is small and really easy to assemble, it has a number on each layer, starting with 0 (nice array starting number for programmers!). When assembled, the pi zero still can have GPIO access and as well as the existing ports, which gives it excellent protection and still can peek though the top layer to see the cool circuitry and chips. The only reason i am giving four stars is it could be nicer to give a access gap for the Micro SD card, i am thinking to cut open the layer 1 and layer 2 on the side to see if that would work, also that means one of the arm of layer 1 would be loose, might need to be glued on layer 0.

This little case is just perfect for the Pi Zero, and it fits very well, and it does its job to protect the pi, the only thing i dont like is that i have to take it apart to access the microsd card, but i just fix that with a file and file half the way of the 2 middle parts, so i make room to insert a small tweezers and pull the microsd card out.

Really like the colours on this and it's nice to have a small case for the zero that doesn't need tools etc to assemble. Holds everything in place and still gives access to the pins and HDMi/USB ports. Might be nice to have access to the micro SD card slot but it's so easy to assemble and disassemble, it isn't really that big an issue and probably helps keep dust out etc. All in all, well worth it

This case is visually beautiful. I like that the blue colors chosen fit with a them of "zero". The layers are numbered for easy assembly. The process of inserting the nuts and tightening the bolts can be a bit fiddly, so I recommend placing a rubber band/hair tie/whatever around the middle of the case while you do this. As a side note, there is no microSD card access. While I understand from other reviews, those who go to maker-faires etc like this because their microSD cards don't get pinched. But, for the everyday (novice) user that requires frequent reimages, it can become a nuisance, as the entire case has to be undone for access. That said, at ВЈ4 a pop, like me you could opt correct this with a hacksaw. I've never had a situation where the microSD card came loose or fell out. Finally, stunning case offers ample access for GPIO.

Great little case, but due to its size, or lack thereof, the pieces slide around a little even with the screws quite tight, but this is very very minor so doesn't affect anything. An annoyance is that an IDE Style Ribbon cable as seen in the Cobbler doesn't fit through the exposed portion of the pins. Brilliant price, very small form factor, but the design could definitely be improved. But 100% does its job of protecting the new Raspberry Pi Zero from physical damage.

The pi seems a bit too tight and its pushing the side out slightly, however everything fits together well. Shame that the SD card is inaccessible, but I can't complain for ВЈ4. Otherwise another excellent Pimoroni product.

This case is excellent in stopping sticky fingers getting to the pizero and protecting the sd card. Hats fit perfectly via the gap to gpio pins, my only down point is having to take the case apart to get to sd card, but with a decent size card this shouldnt be needed often.
