Some notes:
Before putting the SD Card in your Raspberry Pi, add this line to the /boot/config.txt file:
enable_uart=1
Connect the cable using these pins:
Red: 5V
Black: GND
White: 14
Green: 15
Do not connect the 5V (red) if your Pi is using the power adapter.
