“Works out of the box on Linux (tested on Debian Lenny and Debian Buster - shows up as /dev/ttyUSB0) however the amount of power available to the Pi seems to be a problem with this cable (I have no issues with any of my other older USB serial cables)”

The device did what it's supposed to do, and I was able to connect to a rpi4B/4GB and start terminal communications through it from my mac laptop terminal command line without any problem.”
