Easy to order, fast delivery. Very easy to set up on raspberry pi zero, great sound for such a small device. Matched with an 8ohm speaker so could be louder, but definitely worth purchasing if you want audio.

I used this with a 4 ohm speaker to add audio to a Raspberry Pi Pico project to play sound samples from Circuit Python. I was very impressed with the audio volume from such a tiny board and little speakers. It was much louder when powered with 5V than with 3.3V, so use the higher voltage supply to get the loudest audio from it. I had to reduce the volume of my sound samples as it was too loud for a handheld project.

These are brilliant little amp breakout boards. I've used a couple now in arcade projects. When matched to a suitable speaker it provides a nice clear noise-free sound. And it's backed by a thorough learn/support guide as you expect from Adafruit.

Nice and easy to solder the headers and speaker connector to. It then works like a charm and drives a 4Ω speaker with a decent level of output. I'm using a Raspberry Pi at the moment, where it's relatively easy to configure I2S output (essentially I followed the software instructions at https://bytesnbits.co.uk/raspberry-pi-i2s-sound-output/) but obviously there's no reason it shouldn't work with any device that can be made to output I2S data.

This is a very compact little board that I have used to upcycle an old radio case into a modern internet radio. It's easy to use and sounds good when paired with a decent speaker. I would ideally have liked to have docked half a star for the full swing pop that it makes when the input changes since despite the hint on Adafruit's website I cannot get it to stop doing this, but once it's playing something it's a cracking little amp.

I absolutely love this very cheap but simple and powerful amp. Very easy to use and sound quality is good with every speaker I have tried.
