“This amp is tiny in size but not in power. I plugged a 4 ohm 3 watts speaker to it, and it blasts sound like crazy. And I haven't even played with the gain control yet.
I used it with a Raspberry Pi 4 running Raspberry Pi OS, with Adafruit's automatic install. Zero problem to make it run.
A very decent product if you want an easy way to add digital audio to your projects.”
“A pretty good amp with a digital interface. Plenty loud enough for most mono applications. If I had a criticism it's that amp gain can only be set in 3dB increments and needs to be reset to adjust it. For volume control you will need to control the signal going to it digitally. For a ground loop free life though digital is the easy way.”
“I had an old Roberts Radio lying around. I used the audio amp hooked upto a RPi Zero W and made it into a Spotify and Airplay server. Setting up the hardware was a breeze but the Spotify software took some time to get sorted. I replaced the speaker with a new one and it sounds better! Everyone loves it....”
