“I bought this & another one for myself & my friend, she doesn’t mind it but I find that the metal lid gets extremely hot & I can’t drink out of it. Not great when trying to drive & get burnt lips. I’ve also found the metal gives my coffee a real metallic taste. Washed the lid & seem to have water in it & don’t know how.”

“I bought two Calix Mugs and the cups themselves are great, good colours, design and shape. Likewise the cup does what it says on the tin and keeps the drink hot for a good period...... ....that's where it stops though, I was slightly worries when the lid had a label that said caution, the lid may get got. Well that's an understatement and I would go as far to say that the lid is unusable with hot products, it heats up and simply must be removed to drink from it. Similarly, why is it not a leak proof lid, or at least offered with one. I think this along with the heat issue, means the lid let's what would be a great cup, down, hence the 3 stars.”
