Spent a fab Saturday morning doing the Barista Workshop. Rin is an excellent teacher, he's really enthusiastic, skilled and very patient! I wanted to do the course to get the most out of my coffee machine at home and it's made a huge difference already - at last I can make a proper flat white - hurray! Thanks Rin, hope to see you for the latte art one soon ;-) x

Great workshop in good company exploring the art and science of coffee. 'Bitter-sweet' in that my appreciation of coffee-making is now so enhanced that I may need to buy myself some serious kit! Thanks Rin for making it so enjoyable. And the lunch was great! Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved Rin's Barista Workshop which my friend and I attended yesterday. We shared the worshop with two lovely people and were particualrly privileged to work alongside Callum, whose Brazilian family grow and supply Rin's Brazlian coffee beans. The setting was really pleasant, being light and airy and purpose built and Rin created a very relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Although we all had different levels of experience, everyone learned a lot as well as having lots of fun. In addition to learning how to make a great expresso and use the milk foamer to create a range of other expresso based drinks, we gained an insight into the raw materials, coffee production, roasting and grinding. As a complete beginner, I really appreciated the opportunity for loads of hands on experience, Rin's really constructive feedback and his thorough anwers to questions. He is a very warm person and a great teacher and I never once felt afraid to make mistakes. This course is to be highly recommended.

What a lovely way to spend a snowy Sunday morning in the Lakes, learning all about the art of making a really good cup of coffee! Rin went through the whole process: selection of beans, roasting, grinding and espresso making, as well as the art of stretching milk, with such enthusiasm, and ensuring that we were all involved. There was plenty of hands on experience and certainly a steep learning curve on my part. The wonderful equipment was a joy to work with, the other workshop participants were great fun, and the coffee was phenomenal! Many thanks Rin

Had a great time. Rin is brilliant at setting your mind at ease. You share what you want from the course and he meets those expectations. Venue is lovely, tuition focuses on what you need to do , and then you are suddenly making an espresso with a decent crema. I could go on about the passion that Rin has, not only for the incredible coffee bean, but also sharing the knowledge about how to get the best out of it. Lovely way to spend a Sunday.
