“This is a good quality product and a handy solution when the alternative is to run a new cable. Simple and straightforward to connect. Simply needs the switched connection on the transmitter (no need for a permenant live). The receiver needs a live feed and a connection to the switched load. I've used this with a garden lighting setup and it has avoided having to channel a switched connection under a drive.”

“I experienced a failed cable on a domestic boiler circuit. Accessing the cable would have meant removing kitchen units and breaking into a ceiling which were both renewed less than a year earlier. The hardwired alternative was to run a new round the outside of the house but Mainslink was a much better solution. Space was not a problem in my case, it was easy to install and worked first time. The LED's also give me a useful dignostic on the status of the heating system. Great product.”

“Very impressed. It came with stuffing glands. I was initially confused that the output appeared live at all times, however a quick call to support (who answered immediately) advised me that without the impendence of a connected load, the output can appear to be floating high when measured with a 2 pole tester or voltmeter. This product got me out of a hole when a builder severed some key boiler wiring and then boarded and plastered over it. It was very simple to connect and use, and has worked flawlessly. I'd definitely use it again.”

“The first unit you sent didn’t work at all. It showed out of range even when right next to its pair. I ordered a replacement unit which did work but the range even on the long range setting is abysmal struggles to even do 50 metres if one unit is inside the building Completely useless for what I require”

There are perhaps certain applications this product wouldn't suit for example if there is a lot of metal around, this can affect the RF Signal.
