MAINSLINK 5 km Original Switched Live Cable Replacement Solution Reviews

4.8 Rating 93 Reviews

MAINSLINK is the original 5 km switched live cable replacement solution: a 230Vac wireless mains-to-mains remote control system for runs where cabling is awkward or costly. The supplied transmitter and receiver are already paired, so the system is ready to install with no setup required.
This 230V wireless link provides up to 5 km range in open line-of-sight conditions. Rugged IP68 enclosures make it suitable for outdoor use, while UK manufacturing supports durable, reliable performance.
Use MAINSLINK for switched live control, cable replacement and thermostat integration. It is also suited to lighting control and boiler pump overrun applications where a wireless link can replace a difficult cable route.
The complete system includes both the MAINSLINK-TX transmitter and MAINSLINK-RX receiver. App control can be added to the setup with the RIOT-HUB8.

Hi Jeremy, Lovely to hear you are pleased with the MAINSLINK. We are currently working with Worcester Bosch to create an updated version of the MAINSLINK specifically for boilers which may be of interest to you at some point. Great to hear that the product was a problem solver for you. Best Wishes, The RF Solutions Team!

“Excellent piece of kit. I used it to remotely enable an electric car charger in a detached garage when sufficient current was available from solar panels attached to the adjacent house. Signal has proven absolutely reliable and interference-free neither of which was true of the prior equipment; and still without running a control cable from the house to the garage. In case of confusion I should be clear that this doesn't detect that sufficient current is available - it just transmits a signal to that effect from an external device. More normally used for applications like remote thermostats.”

“Yet again this quality product solves a control problem in next to no time, simple and easily installed no setting up runs out of the box, still unsure on the watchdog facility but apart from that the solution to virtually all remote switching requirements Ive encountered yet, distance is underrated.”
