“Regarding charging a new HF coil my experience is not unique: I was struggling to get the HF coil to charge with my old clip which charged the new X35 coil and other older coils OK so brought a new clip as it's good to have a spare for the car anyway or can you charge 2 coils simultaneously. T he new clip works fine with the HF coil (and all others) so I can only assume XP have slightly modified it.”

Hello Keith Indeed the charging clip has had a few modifications over the years, latest being a stiffer 'bridge' so that would explain the diffrence.

“this charging clip is my 3rd in 4 years ..as iv only just brought this one i cant give a reliability review. but this item does what it says will charge your deus coil ....although i still have to fiddle about with it to connect with the pins to start charging ....this may well be as i have a gen 1 coil so dont quite connect as should on the newer coils but once on charge will charge no problem ......not alot i can add to this really ...”

“Deus XP charging clip. Work perfectly well but personally I feel that the contact pins are too flimsy and easily displaced or broken. As it's the only way to charge the coil then you have no choice but to keep on buying this product. Service from Regton is second to none. Thank you.”
