Hello there, thank you for your comments regarding the XP charging clip, hopefully you have your old clip ? Please look at the various improvements XP have made to the clip such as larger pin diameter, strengthening of the 'bridge' and lastly they made the internals latch into position so they can't pull out, I think you'll find this latest one will do the job.

“Even though there are alternate models from other companies, the original from XP is still the best. YES, it is the most expensive, BUT, the fact is quality comes at a price, and the quality speaks for itself, my previous clip lasted 8 almost 9 years.”

“Regarding charging a new HF coil my experience is not unique: I was struggling to get the HF coil to charge with my old clip which charged the new X35 coil and other older coils OK so brought a new clip as it's good to have a spare for the car anyway or can you charge 2 coils simultaneously. T he new clip works fine with the HF coil (and all others) so I can only assume XP have slightly modified it.”

Hello Keith Indeed the charging clip has had a few modifications over the years, latest being a stiffer 'bridge' so that would explain the diffrence.
