Plastic shell does suffer from big impacts but I was expecting that and nothing that can't be fixed.

“Good buggy and fun to drive but there is a couple of down sides, like some other reviews the shell is very brittle and shattered within the first 2 days and second is I can’t find spares anywhere, I have resorted to retro fit a different shell to fit.”

“Bought this for my sons 9th birthday with relatively low expectations as previous rc cars I’ve bought him from Amazon have been disappointing - this car is actually very quick , and has the added bonus of being able to turn the speed down so my 5 year old can play too - it’s 4 wheel drive easily handles grass and it doesn’t get stuck - battery lasts a decent amount of time and fully charges in 3 hrs
Overall feels like a more expensive car and I don’t think you will find better for the price !”
“My son bought this car with his birthday money, he loves the car but was gutted after the first run out the body shell had a crack in it. After a few more runs the shell has got worse and worse, with no replacements to be found.
For a car that is aimed at beginners I would have thought the shell would be more robust or at least have replacement shells available.”
“Bought two of these for my twin boys aged 10. They are fantastic value for money and boy do they move! Fantastic over gravel and lawns can take a tumble. Charge lasts for about 30min and great enjoyment is had. Dad may need to buy himself one soon!”
“My expectations weren't particularly high for this buggy - I have two small children who I'd like to start getting involved in racing and wanted something for them to play around with. They barely get a chance to play with this as I'm having too much fun driving it around the garden!
Most other models I've tried use the "throttle trim" as a way of centring the throttle so the car is stationary when the trigger isn't pressed. I'm not sure if it's normal these days but this model uses it as a limiter, and it arrived with the trim set to less than full power. Turning it up makes the car really quite rapid. Turning it down again is perfect for the children to play around without breaking too much...
