Was purchased for my son’s birthday, after taking it out for a play…it’s now ours! Great little car, very fast and it’s already had a few crashes when I’ve ran out of talent. Very robust!

Got two of these from RC geeks now after buying 1 for my son for Christmas and then accidentally buying one for myself after having so much fun with his. Getting circa 20min run time (1500ma) goes anywhere . Taken a right bashing so far. Brilliant fun. Recommended

We bought the RCG Buggy for our 6 year old son for Christmas, after seeing many positive reviews about it. I have to say it has very much lived up to the reviews and is a great first RC car, with my son getting the hang of the controls very quickly. A big positive is the ability to turn down the speed! It's also been a hit with the other half, being able to re-live his youth! I would definitely recommend the buggy and also get a spare battery pack to avoid the whinging when the battery does run out!

The car was bought as a Christmas present for my 8 Yr old daughter. It broke on boxing day having been used only twice. I understand that things break but the crux is how the retailer deals with it. The answer here is RC Geeks dealt with itquite frankly abysmally. It took them over 5 weeks to finally sort the situation, only after I had to contact trading standards. I'm not sure if it's arrogance, ignorance or lack of proper training that causes it, but suffice it to say that I won't be buying from them again. Check the wee video this review page let me upload - RC Geeks told me it looked like it was working OK! It's maybe me being a nieve numpty, but I was under the impression that an RC car drove forwards........ I've already bought another hobby grade rc car from another retailer. If you read this Laurel, giving the customer what you agreed to give them is NOT a 'gesture of goodwill'! I dare say most folk would have an OK experience with this retailer so long as they receive an item that works, but if it doesn't work then from my personal experience you're totally onto plums. And going by the sheer amount of returns they evidently had after Christmas (by their own admission by way of one of their many excuses) if I was a new customer thinking of purchasing, I'd definitely have another look at other retailers. Finally, the £5 off my next purchase for writing a review - I'll pass thanks.

Bought for my son for Christmas lasted a day an the steering broke a screw came out, took it apart to put it back but doesn’t screw back in. Very disappointing an have a very upset child now. Also the battery that came with it doesn’t work, glad I bought a spare so at least he could play with it for the day before it broke not worth the money.
