“We bought the RCG Buggy for our 6 year old son for Christmas, after seeing many positive reviews about it. I have to say it has very much lived up to the reviews and is a great first RC car, with my son getting the hang of the controls very quickly. A big positive is the ability to turn down the speed! It's also been a hit with the other half, being able to re-live his youth!
I would definitely recommend the buggy and also get a spare battery pack to avoid the whinging when the battery does run out!”
“Growing up in the 80's i owned and built several Tamiya & Kyosho RC cars. I wanted my son to feel the fun and joy that i had, but at only 6yrs old felt that he was far too young to deep dive into everything RC. Bought him this for his birthday along with a couple of extra batteries and have been pleasantly surprised. It appears well engineered and built. We took it out for a test drive and i was impressed with the speed and handling and also that i could trim the speed down to assist my son learning how to control is. It's great that you can buy spares if needed. It's really quite robust and has managed to take a few knocks which can't be said for his batman rc car for the same price bought elsewhere, that the wheel snapped off within the first 5mins of use.
