“for me Mossoff did not work, mixed it 3-1 with water& used sprayer, no rain for 2 days, then it rained been on it for around 4 weeks but moss does not show signs of dying.”

Hi Russ, thanks for leaving a product review. Moss goes pale when sprayed with Mossoff Lawn so it is not as visible as blackening with iron sulphate but it is dependent on spraying sufficient quantity per sqm to ensure the moss is drenched and fully covered. “I had 400 sq m of mossy lawns to treat after years of neglect because I did not want to use potentially toxic compounds. Several areas were deeply and heavily matted with moss. I Scarified twice and then aerated before using Moss Off and then again about 9 days after treatment. I used Moss Off at the stronger of the two recommended dilutions. Considering the very bad state of the lawns I think it has worked well. The lawns were then over seeded but not fertilised and the new grass is growing through well after a couple of weeks. I would use this product again.”

“I used as advised on the product label and applied Mossoff in dry conditions. 2 days later the treatment had turned the moss from green to brown, enabling me to rake it out of the lawn. Very impressed!”
