“I have a dog so didn’t want to use a chemical moss killer, hence I chose moss off. Have followed the instructions and applied it as directed one week ago to a 100 sq m part of the garden which had previously been scarified the day before. I used all of the product so it really did get a concentrated dose. The weather was dry at the time of the application and has been since, so it hasn’t been washed away. The moss in the area treated has not receded in this time, I appreciate that it not a harsh chemical product like other moss killers but I did expect to see some change especially given that I had already scarified.”

Hi John, thanks for reviewing the product. Mossoff is proven to work on moss without blackening. It doesn’t reduce the moss or dissolve it, but turns it brown/ pale colour – this then requires scarifying out to provide room for the grass. “Bought my first Mossoff product last year as deemed environmentaly friendly. It did help to contain the moss, so I have now bought some more and hope it maybe kills it. It can be used all year and which suits me. I have also bought some Mossoff Multi Surface killer to treat algae on my paths. Not used yet.”
